Munns processes all payments through the local NZ company Payment Express. Our website uses the highest level of security to ensure your credit card details are safe. Payment Express is the largest Payment gateway in Australasia and is fully certified as Visa AIS and Mastercard SDP (PCI DSS) Compliant, ensuring end-to-end accountability. All prices on our website are in NZD including GST.

Your credit card will be charged on clicking the Pay Now button on the Payment page in the checkout.

Please note import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are NOT included in the product price or shipping cost. These charges are your responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what additional costs could be charged to you. Munns The Mans Store does not offer GST refunds for exported items.


Fraudulent Order Security Flags:
For your safety we have some automated flags in place to detect potential stolen credit cards. If the credit card used in transaction is flagged, we reserve the right to cancel the order and automatically refund the order amount back onto the credit card used. The customer will not be notified. If you notice that your order has not been dispatched and/or your order amount has been refunded, your card may have been flagged by our security checks. Please contact us for more information.

Purchase of products:
When you place an order on our website, we will email you an acknowledgement. Our acceptance of an order does not take place until the dispatch of order, as we cannot 100% guarantee stock levels until this point. You will receive an email containing a tracking number when your order has been dispatched. Available stock levels online are an indicator only.

Any discounts, voucher codes or promotions will not be validated until the order is accepted by Munns, but will be detailed on the invoice.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:
* The product ordered being unavailable from stock
* Fraudulent activity flags being activated
* The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion

If there are any problems with your order we will contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

Product Information:
While Munns work extremely hard to maintain accurate content on their website, occasionally there may be incorrect information displayed. This could include an incorrect price, photo, colour variation, stock level, or description. Munns reserve the right to cancel any order based on incorrect information, and will offer a full refund as compensation.

How long will my order take to arrive? And will I have to be there to sign for it?

Delivery in NZ is by Courier Post, generally within 1-3 working days (extra for rural delivery). We cannot deliver to P O Box addresses as we use courier delivery. Delivery does not require a signature.

We will keep you updated with your order and you can track your order with the tracking number provided when the items leave our store.

Can I arrange for my order to be collected in store?

Not just yet ! We're working on click and collect.

Can I make a changes to my order or delivery address ?

Munns aims to process your order as soon as possible so if you have changes to your order or the delivery address please contact us ASAP and we will see what we can do!

Has my order shipped ?

We will keep you updated with your order by email. You can track your order with the tracking number provided when the items leave our store.

I didn't receive all of my items I ordered ?

Occasionally we may not be able to supply everything you ordered. We''ll send you an email to let you know and you won't be charged for the items you that aren't sent.

I need to cancel my order ?

Munns aims to process your order as soon as possible so if you have changes to your order please contact us ASAP and we will see what we can do! If the order has already left our store and is in transit with the delivery company we will not be able to cancel the order.

Will my order arrive all in one parcel ?

We have six stores nationwide so you may receive your order in several parcels. However we will keep you informed if we need to split your order for delivery. There is no extra cost to you if we do split your order.

How do you purchase and redeem gift vouchers ?

Munns gift vouchers make a great present!

They can be emailed direct to the recipient or to you.

At the moment gift vouchers purchased online can ONLY be used online.

Gift vouchers purchased in-store can only be redeemed in-store.

What is your returns policy ?

We want to make it easy for you so Munns allows returns for change of mind, and incorrect size or colour, within 30 days of purchase for a full refund in the form of the original payment.

Online orders can be returned in any Munns store or sent back using the enclosed returns form.

Merchandise must be unworn and sellable, with all original packaging and tags attached, and are accompanied by an original Munns sales receipt.

How to return:

Step 1: Complete the returns form that came with your order.

Step 2: Attach the pre-addressed returns label that came with your order to your return package. Please note you will be charged $4.99 for the use of this label.

Step 3: Call Courier Post on 0800 268 743 to arrange collection of your return (valid for New Zealand pick ups only).

If the item is faulty, we will reimburse you the shipping costs to return the item.

We aim to process your return as soon as possible once the items have been delivered back to us. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued onto your original method of payment. Please note that your bank statement may take a few working days to show the refund.

What happens if my item is faulty ?

If you do receive a faulty item please follow our returns policy and we will refund you the cost to return the item (within NZ only) if we confirm that it is faulty. If you are not sure please contact our customer services team and they can help you through the process. Ph 0800 478 484

How much will I be charged for shipping?

We deliver within New Zealand and to most international destinations. Delivery within New Zealand is free when you spend over $100 with us in one order otherwise the cost is $7 per order.

Can you ship to P O Boxes ?

We are really sorry but we cannot deliver to a P O Box address.

My Wedding is on a Saturday, when do I pick up and bring back the suits?

You can pick up the suits from the store you have hired the suit from on the Friday before the wedding (sometimes by prior arrangement Thursday is available). The suits need to be back into store by Monday at the latest. A small charge is imposed if the suits are not returned by Monday.

We are able to, at your cost, courier the suits to your wedding destination. Please see our friendly suit hire team to discuss this option.

Do you supply suits for Page Boys ?

We do two styles of Page Boy suits and accessories. Sizes are 4 – 16.

What if I can't find ties to match my bridesmaids ?

We offer a service to have ties made if you want to match the colours with the bridesmaids. You can supply your own fabric.

Please talk to our friendly suit hire team - and remember don't leave this to the last week !

Do we need to dryclean the suit before we return it to you ?

No. We dryclean all our suits after they have been returned so they are fresh for the next hire.

What is some of the groomsmen are overseas or out of town ?

If you have any of your groomsmen overseas or out of town who are in the wedding party, they will need to get their measurements sent through to the branch you’ve booked at. Normally a local menswear store will oblige in the measuring however if overseas some may require a payment. We can provide you with a measurement form.

What if our wedding is out of town or overseas ?

We do allow our suits to go overseas at no extra cost, however if you are away for several days an extra charge may be applicable.

If you need your suits for an extended period due to travelling out of town talk to our suit hire team as an extra charge may be applicable.

We are able to, at your cost, courier the suits to your wedding destination within New Zealand. Please see our friendly suit hire team to discuss this option.

Do I need ID to hire a suit ? What about a bond ?

Yes, a drivers licence and credit card for each person hiring a suit is required. We will not charge your credit card but we do require your credit card details to be held as security in case the suit is not returned, returned late or damaged.

What if the groomsmen can't tie their tie ?

We can pre-tie their ties so they can slip them on easily or we can provide you with instructions on how to tie a tie.

What if we have given measurements from overseas or out of town and they're not quite right ?

We can make alterations and change suits and accessories if need be on the spot, however if it’s peak season it is possible the sizes needed may not be available.


Is there a discount for larger wedding parties ?

Absolutely!

‘Hire 4 suits or more & the Grooms suit & accessories are free’ * suits must be of equal value.

How do I become a VIP customer ?

Munns has been trading for over 100 years and we are committed to providing the best service to our customers.

Why are not all of your products available online?

We pride ourselves on the service we give our customers. For this reason some items are not available online as they require a personalised fit. Please click here to find your nearest store.
