Formal Dinner Suit - With black bow tie
Our most popular suit style for black tie dinners and formal occasions. The second most formal level of dress, this is commonly worn without a hat, with women wearing a straight gown.
Bow ties are commonly worn to formal dinner events, and while black is traditional, you can stand out by wearing a bow tie that's coloured or patterned.
Your shoes should be black, with matching black dress socks, and you should unbutton your jacket when you sit down.
Plain Black Suit - With coloured tie or black bow tie.
A less formal alternative to a dinner suit, still appropriate for high-class events without being too conservative.
When wearing a two button suit, you only button the top, though if you prefer, you can leave the suit jacket completely unbuttoned. With a single breasted jacket, it's proper to unbutton when sitting down to avoid an ugly drape.
